A little bit about ourselves...
I'm Kristin. I've been dabbling with Raw Vegan for 2 years now, and I'm challenging myself to go all the way on March 1st, 2015. Why the sudden change? I have read 80/10/10 a few times, and it speaks the truth. But, I bought myself Anne Osborne's Book, Fruititarianism The Path to Paradise for Christmas. It took me a while to get through it, because once I opened it, I wanted to make sure I wasn't distracted; I needed to give this book my undivided attention. Her book changed me. And, I'm ready to change my diet, and way of life, to fully get onto the Path to Paradise.
What can you expect from this webiste? It's mostly a blog, so I'll post my Experiences, Fruit Hauls, any Tips I have found useful, and maybe the occasional recipe. However, there won't be a encyclopedia of recipes on this webiste. Why? I'm attempting to eat as close to how we would have eaten in nature; my meals made of mono-fruit, eaten whole. I do believe that this way is best for not only our digestion, but for our entire mindset. As touched on Anne Osbornes' book, we have a natural stopping point, and when we eat whole fruit, not blended, or mixed, our bodies can more readily reach that point.
Now, if you noticed the picture on the home page, you'll see my loving husband, Kenny. He isn't Raw; he isn't vegan; he isn't even vegetarian. I will use him as a reference point when it comes to any recipes I create, and how a SAD-eater will react to the food placed before them.
I also have Instagram if you would like more photos of my delicious fruit, on a more regular basis.
